Chapter book · Book 2
Drandar and the Quest for Redemption
Book 1 asked who he wanted to be. This one asks what he'll do about who he's already been.
About the Book
Redemption is a word kids hear constantly in church and rarely see demonstrated in a story. It's easy to say someone can change. It's much harder to write a character who has to live through what changing actually costs.
That's what this book does. The adventure continues, the stakes go up, and the central question shifts from courage to something harder. What happens after you get it wrong. Whether the wrong thing you did gets to be the last word about you.
Kids feel that question long before they can name it, especially the ones who already think of themselves as the difficult one.
