Bible study · Middle grade and middle school
Discovering the Knight's Code
Your kid will read a fantasy novel for three hours and a devotional for four minutes. This one meets them where they already are.
About the Study
Middle schoolers are not resistant to God. They're resistant to being talked down to, and most Bible studies written for their age group do exactly that. They ask questions with obvious answers, they assume a level of interest the kid hasn't got yet, and they read like homework.
This study starts inside a story they already care about. Drandar's world, the knight's code, and the choices that make a character worth following become the doorway into Scripture. From there it goes to the actual text and asks real questions, the kind with more than one defensible answer.
It works whether or not your kid has read the novels. It works better if they have.
