November “Books that Spark” Book Club

Family concept. Mom, dad and daughter reading storybook together while lying on bed.

November – the time of year when we, in the USA, usually think of thankfulness and turkey., celebrate family and indigenous people, and enjoy snuggling up in sweaters with a cup of hot chocolate or hot tea as the temperatures begin to fall. I thought about having books on gratitude for this month, but instead, I wanted to choose books that make us feel cozy and happy to be reading them.

If you want thankfulness-themed books, I have a whole calendar full of those you can download for free here.

Here are your November Book Club Picks:

Board Books:

I Love You Like No Otter by Rose Rossner

You’re All My Favorites by Sam McBratney

Forest Friends Sleep by Amber Hendricks

Thank You, God by Kathleen Long Bostrom

Picture Books

Little Mole Finds Hope by Glenys Nellist

Crunchy Leaves and Cozy Sweaters by Essie Bell

Wherever You Go, I Want You to Know by Melissa B. Kruger

My Mama Had a Dancing Heart by Libba Moore Gray

Chapter Books/Novels:

Mystery at Indian Point by Chris Landry

A Book for Mom:

Bread and Wine by Shauna Niequist

What are your cozy favorites? We’d love to hear in the comments below!

    1. Thanks! We’ve had a book club for a little while, and it’s morphed a little, but I love the idea of reading books that make us feel cozy this time of year. No matter what the age of the reader (or listener), we should all read books that make us feel happy to have read them. 🙂
